Happy Monday all! It's Pinspiration Monday time. ;)
So "Operation Outdoors" has begun at the Workman residence this March. We have officially cleared almost everything from the shed (taking stuff up to the attic over the course of the week) in order to convert it to a shed bar. On Saturday I installed the flooring to the future shed bar- the previous owners left us a whole box of stick on tiles, but sadly 4 rows short of the entire shed though, so we picked up a cheap box of wood-like stick on tiles for the rest (I call that part of the shed bar the "dance floor", lol). On Sunday before I had to go to work, I painting our deck benches (which we attached new tops to, because the seats fell apart to my dismay-
this is how they used to look), as well as painted a piece of spare wood with chalkboard paint (to be attached to one of the doors to the shed) and 2 tires (to become a coffee table for the deck)- all while the hubs attached the "bar" inside the shed. We aim to have the shed bar up and running by this weekend, just in time for the big drinking day of St. Patrick's Day! I will show photos once it is up and running, but in the meantime, check out the bright benches right after I painted them ;) Wait till you see what I have in store for the cushions!
With all that in mind, I've been inspired by these colorful outdoor decor pictures found on Pinterest, as well as ways to make my own backyard shade/canopy (which I hope to be the next project in line for our deck).
