Roadster Racer 3rd Birthday Party

For my son's 3rd birthday this year, we decided to do a Mickey Roadster Racers themed party.

I was superrrrr excited for this party, as it was the very first party where we'd have kids his own age at (some friends' kids plus kids from his preschool).

He is obsessed with cars, Mickey, and more cars, so it was a no-brainer of a party theme.

Luckily, our dollar store actually had a lot of Mickey Roadster items, plus with the help of various online places (and my own graphic design skills) we decked out the house in Roadster fashion.

We had crafts (such as "Decorate a race car" and "create your own (foam) toolbox"),
 games, and more (besides food/beverages).

I promise, eventually I'll get around to putting up the printables I made, for access to those who want them on here- but I'm kind of behind on this here blogo- so it may be a bit. haha.

Our DIY "Car Wash" in the hallway was a hit. The kids LOVED running through it. Thank you streamers.

The kids had a blast. Even though it was chilly and we couldn't really go outside much, the kids seemed to enjoy themselves.

Since this was mostly a kid-friendly party, we ended up ordering pizza, besides the rest of the food/sweets. It was a smart choice honestly- since everyone seemed to like it.

He had a blast and we still have parts of the car decor up in our house (and the party was a while ago!). haha.

It’s a Luau Family Birthday Party

For our kiddo's 2nd birthday (and my 32nd and husbands 33rd birthday)- we did a combo party Luau. He is still little so we thought he wouldn't mind if we all shared a party. Now next year I'm sure we'll all be about his given theme. haha

Again, didn't do a big shin-dig like we normally do (partially due to it snowing days before, and we got busy), but it was fun to bring out the flowers, leis, and Hawaiian food.

Once again we got our beloved cake lady Jacki to make a fantastic cake that honestly was down right amazing. (was BLUE VELVET on the inside!)  (https://www.facebook.com/Cakesandmorebyjacki/ )

Was fun, and some of our friends we haven't seen in a while stopped by- so was great to hula with our buds!

Nifty 50s New Years Party

For New Year's Eve we always like to have fun parties. With a little one, it always is challenging, so we decided to do a mini- party this year. So Nifty 50s theme it was! Nifty 50s New Years!

We got our beloved cake gal Jacki (https://www.facebook.com/Cakesandmorebyjacki/ ) made the awesome cookies and cake pops! So adorable!

It wasn't as big as our normal shin-digs on New Years, but that's alright. That's what we get for having a munchkin who wants to be apart of the party- he takes over. lol.

We listened to the oldies and drank soda-pop and spiked punch for a fun countdown to new years!
