Stampin Up! Getaway Weekend, October 2014

Happy Halloween everyone!
So, last Friday through Sunday I went to a Stampin Up! getaway weekend with my mom, hosted by the lovely Jill Hilliard.
I was happy to have the weekend to craft and got a LOT done. I finished up my 2013 Project Life album, got up to date on my 2014 Project Life album, created a banner for our New Years Party, and made a BOATLOAD of Christmas cards- which I totally need, since at the start of this year, I had about 2 Christmas cards made. haha

Below are some of the projects I created over the weekend:
This is such a cute Stampin Up! set. I love the little drinks.
Once I figured out how to use the watercolor pen, this became such an adorable card (ended up making a handful like this)
The woman next to me gave me a bunch of her green tree edge leftovers, and I made them into these cards. Yay for reusing others rejects. haha
Started on the Villains side of our "Heroes and Villians New Years Party" banner. ;) Yay for leftover Halloween stuff.
The full banner, just not tied together.
Made the whole set of cards from this simple Stampin Up! kit.
Also finished up these Paper Pumpkin treat bags. I'm gonna give some to peeps that are hosting Halloween parties we are going to, and a few for our neighbors.
I just gotta get some more candy to fill them up though.
Finished my 2013 project life album. Yay!
Here are some of the make-'n'-takes, original designs by Jill, but slightly tweaked by me (cards and scrapbook pages):

Here are the projects I completed in the 2 classes- a gift card class and treat box class:
The gift cards:

The red part in the back comes out as well.
This is my favorite of the gift card holders- so classy.
Cutsy snowman gift card holder.
Simple, but classy Santa gift card holder.
 The treat boxes:
So simple, so cute. I might make more of these...
Adorable purse/fries box treat container.
Santa treat container
Cute birdie treat box.
Double box container- Would be perfect for holding little bottles of Bath and Body Works, etc.
Here are the lovely welcome/pillow gifts/thank you dailies that Jill made for all of us. All are so cute!

I had a great time. Later I'll show you a set of cards I made using a small amount of products, but different designs, based off of one of the make-'n'-takes I did (I'll show you those in the bunch too).
Overall, it was a great time. I can't wait to go to another crafty getaway!
The essentials for crafting over that weekend. lol
Stay tuned for my post on quick and easy Christmas cards- so cute and so simple to crank out a bunch of cards in a jiffy!
Enjoy your Halloween all. It will be Christmas before you know it, lol. Have a great day!

Subscription Box Review: October Paper Pumpkin

Welcome to another Subscription Box Review! Check out my previous Subscription box reviews here.

October Paper Pumpkin:

This month's Paper Pumpkin was quite adorable. The main project is a paper "pie"- each box being pieces of the pie. But there is other adorable projects you can make from the set- which they included an inspiration sheet with it. So cute!

I really love the stamp set for this month's box- perfect for Thanksgiving/Holidays time.

Both months I've recieved so far have been "treat" oriented, so I'm interested to see what the next month's project has in store.
Have a great day!

Subscription Box Review: October Splendies

Welcome to another Subscription Box Review! Check out my previous Subscription box reviews here.

October Splendies:
This month's Splendies gave me some super cuties. I might switch though to the all 3 undies plan (since all Splendies original subscription gives you 1 thong and 2 undies default- you pay a few bucks more a month you get 3 undies instead). I'm just not a big thong person- no matter how cute or comfy they are, still not my thing, as I'm finding out. haha

Anyways, here is the darling trio from Splendies I got this October.

This adorable pink dot Love Libby's is tooo cute!

I got 2 Pucker Up undies in this month's package, one being this cute pink pair...

...and this fancy leopard thong.

I was surprised to get 2 pairs from the same company, but so far I've liked the Pucker Up pairs.

Overall I've been pleased with Splendies- I've only had one pair out of 3 months subscribing that the sizing was a little snug, so overall I'm glad to be subscribed- saves me the time to have to buy underwear. lol
Have a great day!

Subscription Box Review: October Ipsy Glam Bag

Welcome to another Subscription Box Review! Check out my previous Subscription box reviews here.

October Ipsy Glam Bag:

This month's Ipsy was a mixed bag of items I ADORE and items I could care less about. Luckily, a good friend of mine got totally different things in her Ipsy bag, so we swapped 2 items for 2 different items. ;)

The bag this time is ADORABLE. I love the color and style. So cute!

I got a Nicole OPI gold (On a Gilt Trip) nail polish. It's a lovely gold color, and I've used OPI's nail polish before, so I'm excited to have gotten this.

This was what I was most excited to recieve in my glam bag- Skone Cosmetics' Tattooed Waterproof Eyeliner. It is like having a fine tipped marker as an eyeliner and it is super resistant- it stays on all day (and night if you don't take it off). lol- I accidentally fell asleep without taking off my makeup and that eyeliner was flawless and didn't budge the next morning! haha. I love this!

Next I got Indie Lee's Brightening Cleanser. I haven't tried it yet, but I'm looking forward to giving it a shot.

I got Ayres Body Butter Patagonia also in my bag. Now I'm not a huge body butter fan, but luckily a friend of mine is, so we swapped ipsy items.

Noyah's Deeply in Mauve was the last item I recieved in my ipsy bag. It's a little dark for my taste, so this item was also swapped with my friend (who loves darker colors!)

Overall it wasn't a bad bag. The eyeliner and the bag itself were the best part. Like I mentioned above, I swapped 2 items with a friend for her 2 items she didn't want. So in the end, we each got a great bag after our swaps. haha

These are the 2 items I swapped my Ayres body butter and Noyah lipstick for.

Starlook's Guilty Pleasure lipgloss and Mica Beauty Cosmetics Reluctence Mineral Eye Shadow.

I was so excited to get it and so far Ipsy has not disappointed me. Yay for cute new makeup!
