Peeptini : What to do with those leftover peeps!

Now that Easter is over, I am sure you are stuck with a LOT of leftover candy, including one of my favorites: PEEPS.
This drink goes well with the sugary delight, as well as Jolly Ranchers, so you could swap out those if you have a boat load of them too.
Enjoy!

 Pink Peeptini

Ingredients:
  • 1 ounce cherry grenadine
  • 2 ounces triple sec
  • 2 ounces of mango rum
  • 1 peep
Instructions:
Mix alcohol together, serve in a martini glass. Garnish with a peep bunny. Tada!
Now I personally found this quite sweet, so feel free to cut it in half with water or a fruit juice punch- I am not a huge fan of grenadine, so I watered it down a tiny bit for my liking.

 Peeps galore!

The uncomfortable peep bunny with my drink.

Have a lovely day after Easter!

Bunnies and flowers

So this Easter hasn't been extremely eventful, but that's ok. I like just relaxing. We are prepping to dye some eggs and already ate some chocolate and jelly beans. Our original plans of Easter dinner kinda fell through, so we're going to try and find a place to eat later.
Anyways, here is the card I made for the hubs and the cards I made for my Friday night Card Club's April card: flowers and spring theme. Enjoy!

I just loved this little word bubble saying. Too cute!

Another thing I got done and ready was my new paper rack my Mom got me for my Birthday. It's been sitting in my craft room waiting to be put up, and I finally took the time to organize my paper into it. I have the solid paper by color and the designer paper by month/theme.

Have a very Happy Easter everyone!

Easter Sunday

So by the time most of you read this, I am either A) sleeping, B) Eatting lunch, C) at work, or D) sleeping. Easter is one of those holidays that I don't get off of work, and since I work on most Sundays, that means I work Easter Sunday. Now, I'm going to be honest here, my hubby and I don't celebrate a lot of holidays (except Christmas, Birthdays, Valentine's Day, Thanksgiving and Halloween). We just can't afford it right now, and we also haven't found the right church to attend. But it's alright. We still technically are newlyweds (married in August) so we are allowed to be poor right?
Anyways, enough rambling. My major thing about this post is to remind you to check out Fun-Frilled today. Sundays are my hosting day over at Fun-Frilled, so be sure to check it out here!
If you participate in the weekly theme challenges, you can win some awesome loot. Check out the regulations and prizes here.
Ok, hope you all are enjoying your holiday! Easter blessings to you all!
Below is a sneaky peek at my Easter card over at Fun-Frilled and the supplies list. Check it out!

Hugs for each and every one of you!
